    Exceptionally good, handmade pastas, and pizza for almost any palette. We were celebrating a teammates' birthday and we couldn't have made a better choice. Wait staff was attentive and cordial as well.

    A fantastic dining experience from beginning to end We were lucky enough to walk in and sit at the bar, not easy on a Friday. The bartender was very helpful explaining all seasonal favorites. I went with the triangoli pasta And the rock cod for a main The pasta was packed with flavor and tender. The fish was buttery & delicious. I savored every bite.

    Absolutely love coming to Cotogna every time I'm in San Francisco, the flavors can't be beat. I order the Agnolotti del Plin every time and in the summer their Corn Triangoli is perfectly seasonal. Their Vanilla & Honeycomb gelato that's made in house is one of my absolute favorite flavors. They've got really cute outdoor seating and the staff is super attentive. Wine list is also really great.

    Took me several tries to get in here, but on a Monday evening decided to opt for the 1 hour and 40 min wait (which turned out to be an hour)... Standouts: 1) Wine Sommelier was awesome! He put up with my newbie questions on orange wines that were closer to lambics (beer) 2) Corn Triangola - When I ordered didnt realize this was a few week seasonal item, but this was one of the most awesome raviolis Ive had. Imagine Japanese corn chowder distilled into a triangle shaped ravioli 3) Pizza - Summer Squash. They couldn't answer my questions on flour used or proof on dough but the pizza itself was phenomenal. Perfect rise in the dough which showed active yeast and good fermentation, with great balance of crispy edges and chewy crust... 4) Gelato - Vanilla Honeycomb. Perfect finish to a great mean. Also ordered the Agnolotti and the Tagliatelli which were good representations of their styles. The Strawberry Tart was more mascarpone than lemon and I wish the balance was reversed...
